Rachael Cayley
I am an associate professor (teaching stream) at the Graduate Centre for Academic Communication, which is part of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto. Since 2007, I have taught academic writing and speaking to graduate students. Before joining the University of Toronto, I worked as an editor at Oxford University Press in Toronto. I have a PhD in philosophy from the New School for Social Research and a BA in political science from the University of British Columbia. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me by email.
I wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach and write on this land.
